Our Story

We are a Husband and Wife team who has always had the same passion, to teach the youth! Through the experiences of working with children, learning about ourselves and diving deep into our own relationship we came to realize that we had a strong desire to have our own preschool, a beautiful and fun place that we could create together. A place that would bring joy and peace not only to us and our own inner children but also to the community that we serve.

About a decade ago we both found our love of Montessori education and over time not only did we find more of ourselves we found that we wanted Montessori not only as a foundation for our lives but also for our future preschool! Both of our journeys in teaching and the way in which we found Montessori is unique in itself and stories that must be shared in order for you to know us a little better.

In knowing us is to trust us and feel safe with us, which is essential in in letting us care for your most precious creation, your child.

About Us

Angela Moyer

In the 10 years teaching and caring for children I worked mostly with preschool age kids but I also have cared for some infants and toddlers too. The preschool age is where I found my sweet spot.  My journey in finding Montessori was very serendipitous. In trying to find my own purpose the word "Montessori education" kept showing up in my life. After the 3rd time and being able to see a primary (preschool) class myself I knew I had to become a Montessori Teacher. During teacher training is where I knew I found home. It was a new way, a way to teach and a way to live, one that honors and respects the unique individual and their own path. This was exactly the way I wanted to live my life as a teacher and a person. After training I worked in the classroom for about 4 years and then decided that I wanted to be an entrepreneur and work for myself. In trying to figure out that path I also brought the Montessori ways and cared for children in their own homes. I also worked close to mothers and learned first hand some of the struggles that families go through. On that journey the dream of having my own school with my husband was fully realized. It fills my heart to think of creating a space for the community, a beautiful space that inspires and ignites joy, curiosity and wonder!

It is my mission to nurture the hearts and minds of children. To allow them the space to be their true selves and to discover who they really are within. I believe and hope that from here they can really flourish and blossom into their true colorful selves.

Other things I love to do:

Be Creative, be in nature, go on adventures and spend time with loved ones.

As a advocate of Montessori Education, I found my passion for Montessori as an adult but also I grew up in a Montessorian way myself as a child. Responsibility, freedom within limits, being independent and helping the community was a way of life for me. Montessori was always within me. As a Scholar I  found myself at KU. Before graduating I made it to the Deans List! In 2013 I Graduated with a Bachelor in Applied Behavioral Science, a focus in youth development and a minor in psychology .  I am extremely passionate about the betterment of children in all communities.

I later went on to become Certified in Montessori teaching.

Through working with youth of all different ages and some with disabilities, I have found my way back to working with the preschool age. Teaching this age is my passion!  I have now spent years in leading my own Montessori Classroom, its now time to co lead within my own school. It is my mission to create a space that feels restorative and safe and a place where children can discover their full potential. They deserve to have a place they feel inspired by. It is my mission to create a space where children love learning and where they believe in their abilities. It is here that they learn how to be confident in themselves and they begin to imprint their own unique gifts and individual power into this world. This is how they help change our world.

Other things I love to do:

Play sports, exercise, read, cook, listen to music, watch movies, spend time with family.
